I painted this scene from memory of one of my trips to the Elk Lakes. While sitting in our camper having breakfast, I saw two bull moose in the meadow. Their antlers gleamed in the cool misty, morning air. That image stayed with me and is what I wanted to create in this painting. Not for sale.
