This mosaic was lots of fun to make: small and cheerful. I had a 5" round mirror and after attaching it to an 8" substrate, began to scatter patterns of brightly-coloured shards of left-over stained glass around it. Not much preconceived notions. When it was done, I googled poems or songs that had the words dance or dancing in them and came up with a poem by famous Canadian poet Robert Service: "The Dancehall Girls". He lived in Dawson City, Yukon Terr. where there was a lively gold-rush atmosphere at the time.
