Stained-glass and pebble mosaic, grouted. Sometimes the wavy colours in a slab of glass lend themselves to a particular project--in this case, northern lights. The sky and earth portions are cut from the same glass: the sky with the very pebbly and reflective side facing up, and the land with the smoother side up. A real challenge to cut the glass as it wanted to break just about everywhere but on my lines.
