Harman's Paintings > Provincial and National Parks

Opabin Plateau is accessible by a trail from Lake O’Hara in Yoho National Park in the B.C. Rocky Mountains. Group of Seven Artist J.E.H. MacDonald and Banff artists Peter and Catharine Whyte painted in the area. In late September, the snow squalls start to move through the mountain valleys and the air feels cool and damp. The fall colours are starting to fade. Its awe-inspiring to experience the start of winter in the alpine.
