Coal Creek Valley - Lizard Range

This scene is overlooking the old coal mining townsite of Coal Creek with the Lizard Range in the distance. The abandoned town is now overgrown with cottonwoods, aspen and larch trees. I was in the right place at the right time to see larch needles beginning to change from green to a golden hue. I also wanted to show what it would be like at the old townsite in autumn.
