No one could have asked for a more loyal companion than our Springer Spaniel, Buck: a walk, a drive, fishing or working in the yard--he was right there. This mosaic is based on my favourite photo of him: he would spend hours gazing steadily like this, into the woods behind our home, hoping to see a deer. Then like lightening, he'd be off after it but only for a few yards. Then he'd swagger back proud of having done his job.
