Fairy Creek, on the north side of town, is Fernie's water source. The creek drains the watershed of the spectacular Three Sisters area that towers over the city. The trail to this view is a pleasant walk from the highway. Autumn leaves still hanging on the branches are covered with early snow caps. The air is crisp in the deep shadows of the ravine and you can hear the rumbling of Fairy Creek Falls which is glowing in a sliver of sunlight.
