This is the highest mountain near Cranbrook and may be the most-climbed peak in the area. The pointed peak dominates the horizon when viewed from the west. I grew up in Cranbrook and stood on top of many peaks in the area including Fisher Peak. I decided to paint an early spring view, showing the mountain in an icy-looking state.
