I learn a lot when I not only study a famous artist, but adapt his work. Here I took a portion of Claude Monet's painting, with changes. I love how the two complementary colours work so well together. When we went to France, we drove to Giverney where Monet painted this. We were on a small number guided-tour and had the driver stop on a country road near Giverney where we think his original was painted.
