Mount Temple towers over the village of Lake Louise in the Canadian Rockies. It is the highest and most prominent peak in the Lake Louise area. When I looked at this mountain from the campground, I knew I had to paint it. There was a fresh dusting of early snow and a strong wind blowing across the glacier. The setting sun gave the mountain a brilliant glow.
